EasyWay/CENTRICO (Central European RegioN TRansport Telematics Implementation CO-ordination Project) is a Euro-Region, implementing Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) to improve the efficiency of the Trans European Road Network (TERN). CENTRICO Partners are national and regional public administrations from Belgium, England, France, Germany, Luxembourg (observer only) and The Netherlands. CENTRICO partners are representing the road managers in the entire area.

Objectives: With around 100 million inhabitants living within its borders, CENTRICO has a high volume of cross-border ‘transit’ traffic and a very dense road network. For this network, the main aim of CENTRICO is to enhance international interoperability and harmonization between its partners and with other Euro-regions. CENTRICO’s objectives are to increase traffic safety on the TERN, reduce congestion and optimize the use of existing road infrastructure, increase viability of road investments, decrease the impact on the environment and enhance availability of traffic information for the road user. These aims will make your trip on highways more comfortable and safer.
