Evaluation Expert Group

Leader: Bob Castleman. The Evaluation Expert Group (EEG) constitutes an independent body within EasyWay. It consists of representatives of each Euro-Region plus a leader and deputy. The EEG is responsible for developing evaluation procedures designed to collect and process evaluation results from study and implementation activities within the EasyWay programme. Using data and information specified by the EEG, which are provided by partners on a regional basis, project and programme level evaluations are structured on the basis of appropriate indicators.

The evaluations are synthesised by the EEG to provide the necessary overall evaluation of performance. The overall objective is to demonstrate how the co-ordinated delivery of integrated services within EasyWay delivers tangible benefits in terms of effects on safety, network efficiency and the environment.
