SPB meeting

During the EasyWay Supervisory Program Board meeting 10th of November EW Member States representatives were informed about the status of the EW2 enhancement process 2011 and the upcoming Member States and External Stakeholders consultation process.

The SPB Members acknowledged the work being undertaken. Stephanie Kleine stressed that all MS should work very carefully through the proposed part A of the Deployment Guideline Drafts during the formal MS consultation phase. EasyWay needs feedback from participating Member States that the contained requirements are supported and would like to learn what should be addressed if not.

The SPB asked to be informed how the targeted mediation phase is foreseen and how detailed the MS should comment on the DGs and requested a supporting document at start of the Member States consultation process. EW will provide both in a supporting document and stressed that the MS should have a special focus on the checklist in the Deployment Guideline documents where all requirements and recommendation are listed. The following timeline was adopted:

Stephanie highlighted the very tight time plan and underlined that all parties need to stick to the deadlines for each phase as an absolute precondition for the achievement of the targeted goal: to provide a Final Draft for adoption by beginning of November 2012. There will be no room for delays at all. The deadlines next year are to be taken serious.

Ronald Adams reported about the general EW2 status, the working status of the different EW groups and of the Euro-regions with their respective projects.

Stefan Strick emphasises that according to the speech of FotisKaramitsos and the statement by PawelStelmaszczyk development and further improvement of the programme management structure of EasyWay is needed and EW SC has to come up with a proposal for this – in particular for any potential post-2012 programme.

Arne Lindeberg presented the EW roadmapproposal.Details will be given and discussed in the upcoming EWSPM meeting 24th of May.The EW SPB approved the principle of the concept of the EW ITS Deployment Road Map in terms of content and timeline
