EasyWay/ARTS (Advanced Road Traffic in the South-west) is an EasyWay Euro-Region constituted by national and regional public administrations and toll motorway companies in Spain, Portugal and France with the goal to improve the traffic management and information to road users in the corridors which link the Center of France with Portugal.

The ARTS partners have work together from the year 1997 when it was established the first framework for cooperation in this area. In the period 2001-6 they were able to work in a consensus proposal where national and regional plans converged in a pan-European point of view.

Traffic service continuity on the cross-border and traffic quality improvement on the roads within the TERN zone of the South-West of Europe and the South-Atlantic are the main key issues of ARTS. Key achievements are related to the creation and use of Traffic Management Plans, broadcasting information and creation of a first network of interconnected TCC via DATEX.
